Interesting tidbits

The pews were aquired from the Kol Ami Synagogue when the building was renovated in 1975 (they were already antiques at the time).

Origionally all of the glass was clear glass to better help the students to study durring the daytime school (it was the 1880s and there was no city electricity yet).

Around the 1975 the old clear glass was replaced by the stained glass currently seen. In July of 2010 the main stained glass window was replaced with the one currently shown, the artist was Tom Holdman.

Origionally the west side was the podium but over the course of time the podium was changed to the east side instead and the pews were realigned accordingly.
