The Sorensen Student Center. Named after one of UVU’s most influential founders, Wilson W. Sorensen, this central building on campus houses all the student necessities including: the bookstore, Scoops ice cream parlor and a food court with a variety of options, in addition to a post office, housing services, Outdoor Education Adventure Rentals, the intramurals office, a copy center and credit union. Upstairs, the Sorensen Center houses the Ragan Theater for productions and performances, an open computer lab, student media and publications – home the student newspaper, a cafeteria, student government and student services, including health education, wellness services and dispute resolution.
